Mind Your Money all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion to see a financially free future for families in the Commonwealth, and that starts with early access to financial education. Because we believe that when Kentucky's students learn financial literacy, they will grow into financially responsible adults.
What is a Mind Your Money School Program?
Founder Elizabeth King has spoken to over 2,200 students through the Mind Your Money School Programs in classrooms across Kentucky.
School visits include curriculum tailored for each age group from elementary to high school, covering the primary focus areas of Mind Your Money including:
- Saving
- Spending
- Debt Avoidance
- Investing
Through strategic partnerships with Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass and Global Game Changers, classrooms can opt in to optional additional embedded curriculum about:
- Career Readiness
- Citizenship
- Entrepreneurship
